Possible one way system in naseby

Reported anonymously at 09:49, Thursday 13 February 2020

Problems have arisen since the pavement was extended near the school and the double yellow lines. No problem with that in itself but this is having a knock on effect and hence parking at bottom of Bakehouse Rise and along the high street turning right. The guys at The bakehouse on the High Street have to park on the road outside their house and there is parking on the opposite side of the high street at the bottom of Bakehouse Rise. All the additional parking down the High street make it near on impossible to see down the road, although we have right of way. This parking is causing a dangerous situation for people pulling out of Bakehouse Rise when turning right. We cannot see down the road. A suggestion is that a single yellow line is placed on corner near post box up to entrance of The B&B and also on the left hand side and round corner (as you look at Bakehouse Rise) make it safer to park - people often park just inside Bakehouse too close to the junction making it tricky when turning into Bakehouse rise too. Given more houses in Naseby there is more traffic coming along the High street. I would like to suggest that the High Street is made one way from School Lane towards Newlands in that direction. I understand there is a form that I can complete with the Parish council. Please can you send me the form by email and I can attach a plan. Thanks.
