No road markings causing several crashes Reported anonymously at 14:07, Tue 31 March 2020 On the mini roundabout on London road opposite the coop store , entering the roundabout from the town centre direct there is a lack of road markings. It needs traffic calming measures too. We have a clear view of this area and it’s common place for cars, lorries even the busses to not slow down at all and to take the roundabout at speed. Regularly vehicle crash into the roundabout signs and the crash barriers, one such crash happened yesterday 30th March. We find it dangerous when entering the roundabout from Woodcroft way as nobody slows down in order that we can enter the roundabout. Two things need to happen. Clear road markings and traffic calming measures. So far only crash barriers and signage have been the victims but it’s only a matter of time when somebody is hurt . Of course I don’t have status to tell me if the crash victims have indeed been injured. Please make this junction a priority. Thank you
