Safety bollard missing at the bottom of Chapel Lane and causing a health and safety hazard Reported anonymously at 15:21, Fri 1 October 2021 The black iron bollard (which was removable and stood next to a fixed bollard) has been missing for over 2 years. It is required to restrict vehicular access to the pedestrianised residential lane - located at the bottom of Chapel Lane and adjacent to Queen Street, between the Chapel building and Askew's hair salon. The exposed raised ironworks and the hole for the missing bollard constitute a health and safety hazard, which we currently warn pedestrians about by using a road traffic cone. There is restricted street lighting in Chapel Lane (due to a street light still not working which was reported 2 years ago) and it's becoming more dangerours due to the darker nights/mornings. The bollard needs to be replaced urgently and the area made safe again. Thank you.
