Roundabout information sign damaged and facing the wrong way

Reported anonymously at 11:28, Fri 27 May 2022

Sign on the n/s, approach to Rothersthorpe Road roundabout from Rothersthorpe Avenue (industrial estate) appears to have been struck by a high vehicle. Both RHS pole fixings sheared off. Sign has swing around on the surviving post fixings on the other side in the high recent winds and is now resting on the residential properties wall. I'm not sure if damage has been caused to the wall but there is fresh brick shards on the ground and damaged bricks and the sign is resting on the wall, currently preventing it from swinging back. I would suggest the sign presents a hazard to pedestrian traffic. Especially should it move again. My elderly neighbor who lives at the property, by the sign, made me aware of it yesterday evening and I said I would get in touch to report it. I believe the sign was damaged in the last week, but I don't have an accurate date/time.
