Faulty pavements outside no. 86 Blandford avenue
Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category by Maureen Heaney at 11:22, Wed 27 March 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1585589.
On the 18th March 2019 I was walking down Blandford Avenue and tripped twice and went flying outside number 86 Blandford avenue. I was taken straight to A&E at Kettering general hospital. My kneecap had moved away from my knee and my knee cap was broken in half. I was kept in hospital and had an operation to repair the knee cap. My left leg is in a caster plastic . The faulty pavement has been like this for some time. The person who came to my aid said it had been reported several times and the problem area now has yellow lines around it. The tree roots are causing the pavement to break.
