Major problems with drains running across the road. They appear to be collapsing
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 09:24, Thu 28 March 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1586660.
I reported this problem last year 941228 and was advised it would be resolved. The whole road is sinking. There is now a dip every couple of yards where the drains run across the street. This is a very busy street and will cause a major problem if nothing is done. There was a small pothole outside my house which was filled in but nothing seems to getting done about the main problem. I have lived here 34 years and this has been ongoing for about the last couple of years and is getting worse.
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

I can't understand as it is quite clear to anyone looking at it that there is a problem. Do we have to wait until the drains collapse before anything is done about it ..

As the Councillor for North Street, I am now concerned that County Council is not at the very least inspecting, and if they care to send someone from County, I will gladly meet with them any time, any day. Councillor Ken Harrington ...........please contact me. firstname.lastname@example.org
