New roundabout signs are incorrect

Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 17:13, Fri 29 March 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1588304.

The signs on the approach to the almost completed new roundabout at Geddington Road are incorrect for the following reasons:

- Rockingham Motor Speedway is included as a brown tourist destination, when it doesn't exist as a tourist venue any more. It closed at the end of 2018, now trades as a vehicle storage facility and its stands will soon be demolished. The sign was erected earlier this year and is already out of date in this regard.

- Stanion Park is a new business park and should be in a black box with white text, as per the other sign that has been erected next to it.

  • The new road signs on the approach to the new roundabout on the A43 Stamford Rd / Geddington Rd are obscured by trees & bushes. This makes it very difficult to get in to the correct lane & navigate the roundabout safely.
