Grass verge damaged by vehicles

Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 21:29, Friday 12 April 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1602124.

Ongoing issue. All verge's and road surfaces have been seriously damaged by the amount of vehicles including Hgv's using Deene as a short cut to avoid the roadworks on the A43. This has got worse on the weekend of 12th April as the A43 is closed all weekend. There have been no provisions put in place to stop this happening, and dispite numerous phone calls to the reliant councils not once has anything been done about it. I am a resident of Deene and I do belive it would be quieter living on Piccadilly circus. Thanks East Northants Council and Northamptonshire Council for taking the time to address the issue while taking our hard earned money for council tax so you can try to balance your own books after overspending.
