Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 11:02, Sun 14 April 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1602818.
Started as two small potholes around December 2018. Now road surface has deteriorated across 80% of one lane of carriageway and encroaching across other lane. Cars are crossing double white lines to avoid on a blind corner and the now significant depth has potential to damage cars or cause serious accident.

I think this road defect requires immediate attention, not within four months! Have witnessed several near misses where vehicles swerve to avoid the defect almost colliding with oncoming traffic. If there is a collision I suggest the county will be liable! Should have been fixed months ago.

I drove along the road yesterday, the area is an "accident waiting to happen" if this does occur I will notify local and national press.

For this problem to take up to 4 months to repair is quite frankly ludicrous and dangerous, I suggest that these potholes are inspected immediately and repaired as a matter of priority. As other road users have already described, these potholes may easily be an accident waiting to happen - even more so for motorcycles
