Multiple highway defects on corner of road.

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1605054.

This group of defects was reported via Street Doctor on 7 January 2019 (Ref: 960820) and was marked for attention within 4 months (so deadline 7 May 2019). The defects have been inspected. The road surface has deteriorated further since January and will now require a large continuous patch all the round the corner on the east-side lane.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 16:23, Tuesday 14 May 2019

  • The damage to this portion of road is now extremely dangerous on the portion between the junction and gates to the carpark, to the point that damage to a vehicle after driving over the holes approaching the junction from Eydon has been witnessed. The updates above state it would be fixed within 4 months with a deadline of 7 May, then within 1 month on 17 April. This time period has now been exceeded.

  • The corner of the road is in really poor condition and pot holes are also appearing towards the junction with Eyden Road.

    At least one cyclist has fallen as a result of the poor surface, damaging their wrist and grazing their face.

  • Still not fixed. It's been 2 months since the update that said "Work instructed and will be undertaken within 1 month." and over 5 months since the defects were originally reported.

  • July 15th and still no sign of this patch of road being repaired. Please update Northamptonshire County Council.

  • 18th july and still not repaired... you are now wide open to potential legal challenges for injuries caused etc as a result of you not repairing defective road surfaces that you are aware of!!! GET IT FIXED!!!
