3 potholes which have been marked but yet to be fixed

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 12:21, Wed 17 April 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 4 minutes later. ref: 1605945.

These potholes were identified on the previous system & I thought they were going to be fixed but they seem to be forgotten about and are getting larger & deeper - I think I can see Australia. Can you please fix these as soon as possible. Thanks

  • This stretch of road joining Boughton Road and Boughton Lane is a notorious black spot and is a chock point for a huge amount of traffic travelling from Moulton towards Kingsthorpe and the Fire Station in the opposite direction. Potholes are constantly appearing in the area of the T junction by Boughton Lane Linear Open Space. The small hill which runs from the T junction towards the ruined church is littered with fallen branches covered with Ivy ready to fall into the road, the thick foliage on either side of the hill needs clearing to reduce the danger to motorists. The potholes have been marked for weeks without action. This area is a death trap waiting for the next fatality. CLEAR IT and REPAIR THE POTHOLES as a matter of PRIORITY
