Invisible markings don’t hold busses back
Reported in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 17:28, Thursday 2 May 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1619562.
I’m counting near misses here. I’ve personally had 2 really serious misses where busses do not know who has right of way, and they take it for themselves. Markings have been so faded / missing for so long now, memory of them is also fading for drivers. Please repaint before there is an accident. Drapery joins Bridge St/Mercer’s Row.
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

It is now October, and the original report was made in May. The situation has worsened as drivers have no idea of the priority. You gave a 6 month window for repainting. Please confirm when this is scheduled, since your window is closing.
