Road surface full of potholes

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1625831.
Potholes on Bishops Drive occasionally get filled in, thank you, but what happened to the resurfacing you were going to continue from the Headlands down here? It looks dreadful and is unsafe for cyclists. This has been an ongoing problem for years, we hope that you can do this in the near future.
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

Cars park on the verges round the left side on the corner of Headlands and Bishops Drive and block the road. They often park on the double yellow lines and used to park under the 'Do not park on the verges' sign erected by the Highways agency, that was pulled down within a fortnight. We hope that by extending the double yellow lines this would improve greatly the access into Bishop's Drive, not just for residents but for tradesmen, delivery firms, recycling lorries, skip firms, school buses and caravans, all of whom have experienced difficulties at the junction. If redoing the yellow lines is too expensive we wondered if you could put posts round the corner at least to the first driveway.
