Damaged by Fibre contractors
Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 16:58, Wed 15 May 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1630816.
The green on the corner of Nightingale and Magpie was used by your fibre contractor to store barriers a portable loo a pile of gravel/stones whilst they completed the installations totally killing the grass. On leaving they only flattened the surface not picking up there residual gravel not reinstating the grass. Now all that grows are tall weeds.
The first mowers avoided the area but since then it has been strimmed but still no grass and the weeds will grow again. Is it possible to get the contractor back to reinstate the mess to the nice grasses area that was there before. I asked SNC and they said tomuse street doctor as it was your responsibility.
Thanks

I have been advised by automatic email that this case has been closed but it is still a mess although someone used a strimmer on it. The previously grassed area is still full of stones and weeds.
Can you advise why this was closed please?

Thanks for the update. These are picture or the area as of today. Its still rough, but was strimmed and there is no sign of a single grass seed. If racked surely some would be on the surface?
Sorry it may seem trivial but we are proud of our environment and do not see why not matter how essential the work that a proper clean up could not be completed. Thanks for chasing them though.
