Deep undulations in the 'grass' pathway outside of 20 Catchpole Close
Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 08:06, Fri 17 May 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 4 minutes later. ref: 1631517.
Because of parking on the grassed area outside of 20 Catchpole Close it has caused some severe undulations that are now a health and safety issue. The issue is compounded by the grass pathway abutting private land and is spreading onto that land causing more damage and destroying tree roots. The issue is causing neighbour conflict and when other drivers such as delivery people are approached and asked not to park, they are abusive, threatening, rude and uninterested in the damage they are creating.

Thank you for your update. Can you advise what repairs will be taking place, please?
The reason I ask is that, not only are the undulations a health and safety issue but the parking is also an issue which is a great cause for concern as arguments are escalating and I have no wish to see them turn into something where someone is hurt as a result of rage from what is a very frustrating situation. Therefore can you advise if the repair includes erection of bollards to stop parking, please?

Thank you for filling in the undulations in Catchpole Close but the area is now again falling in to disrepair as visitors to the street continue to park their vehicles on the verge, as a result the area is again a health and safety problem not to mention an eye sore causing complaints from the residence. Can you please confirm if there are any plans to put a fence or some sort of restricted parking bollards around the area to avoid any further issues. Corby Council have been out to look at the area and have advised your department is responsible for the area.
