Dangerous metal spike behind gate entering field

Reported in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category by Martin Gorrod on behalf of Welford Parish Council at 14:30, Mon 3 June 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1647450.

Land owner has inserted a metal stake into the ground behind the footpath gate. This has 3 impacts on walkers: 1. It restricts the opening of the gate, restricting access to the right of way. 2. The metal stake is a significant trip hazard to walkers 3. The top of the metal stake is split metal which is a significant health and safety risk to walkers should they trip and fall onto the stake.

This has been notified to Welford Parish Council as a potential health and safety issue
