There is a considerable quantity of work being undertaken along the Barton Road as part of the Kettering East Developments. In order to complete the work there has been a need to phase elements which could leave temporary surfacing in the short term. These areas are monitored as part of the overall safety check undertaken.

The section of road at the junction of St Botolphs Road and Barton Road Barton Seagrave / Kettering where the road alignment has taken place is getting worse each day. The pothole is getting bigger and the road surface is breaking up. I think that the people who are monitoring this area must have missed this problem.
