2 x deep potholes - previously repaired last year before & after left hand speed bump after roundabout
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:08, Mon 10 June 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1654815.
These 2 potholes have been repaired numerous times before and since their last repair only lasted around 6 months. There is a deep pothole on either side of the left hand speed bump, after the mini roundabout near the Joan Strong Centre, in East Road. It’s impossible to miss either hole as cars park opposite so you can’t avoid them. The first hole is approx 9” deep and so when filled with rain water, it becomes ‘hidden’, is really dangerous and has the potential for serious car damage. These holes don’t need a quick patch up job, like the other times. They need a proper (decent workmanship) solution that lasts. Unlike some of the other potholes in Oundle, the potholes actually need the water removing before the filler is put in (unlike the poor job done in station road).
