Obstruction on 'run/walk' route on a busy fast road
Reported in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 16:35, Wed 12 June 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 6 minutes later. ref: 1658157.
I appreciate this may be classed as vegetation but, I am having to step onto the 60mph road to get around the overgrown branches when I regularly run/walk this route, which I feel is dangerous. There are numerous trees blocking the path from the little houghton turn off up to Brafield. I know one is on the bus stop, I cannot give accurate locations of the others but can say it'll be obvious when you walk the route as you won't be able to walk past them without ducking or stepping on the road. I see other runners doing this and have myself been taken by surprise when one popped onto the road to avoid having to duck mid run, whilst I was driving past, It made my heart go although I'm sure they weren't going to jump in front of my car I wasn't to know that initially.
Please can someone please just come along that small section of road and cut them right back. Thank you :)
