A pot hole that was hidden by floodwater. Ripped a hole in my nearside front tyre

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 12:07, Thursday 13 June 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1659352.

On the 8/6/2019 I was driving along Main Street when the nearside wheel dropped into a pot hole hidden by water. There was a car coming in the opposite direction so I could not drive down the centre of the road. The side of the tyre ripped. There was no phone signal so I had to walk to the Swan public house where they kindly let me use their phone. I phoned the breakdown service. Parker Fry the garage PE2 8HW. They came out and put on my space saver wheel. I than had to order a new tyre even though the one fitted was hardly worn. This was fitted by Mr Tyre Aylestone Rd. Leicester.on the 12/6/19 At a cost of £120.00 invoice no. 06C45652. This was very frightening experience and could have been worse, therefore I would like to claim the £120.00 compensation.
