Huge hole in tarmac between drain & gully. Rain goes down hole not drain.

Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 16:04, Sun 23 June 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 1 minute later. ref: 1671204.

The drain us located directly outside my front door at 30 seymour street. Damp has appeared on internal walls in my house which has got worse with all the rain we have had. On inspection there is a huge hole in the tarmac between the drain and the gully so the rain never reaches the drain, just goes down the hole and is probably seeping under my house . I have filled the hole with old tiles at the moment to try and stop as much water as possible going down the hole. I would appreciate that this looked at as soon as possible as the damp is spreading rapidly . I have only lived here since march so have no idea if this gas been a problem befire but with the size and depth of the hole i would imagine it has been going on for some time and pribably gas reached saturation point hence the damp.
