Wide garden hedge over hanging pavement that causes restricted visibility at junction
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 18:18, Mon 24 June 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1672748.
The garden hedge on the corner of nunnery avenue and greening road is very wide, overhanging the pavement. When you are at the junction on nunnery ave turning on to greening road you have to go out into the busy road to see. This is extremely dangerous as it’s very close to the busy montsaye school. It needs cutting back to half its current width to make the junction safe.

This image shows the lack of visibility when leaving the junction of nunnery avenue onto greening road. The hedge is neatly clipped but is so wide at the top its obstructs visibility when going on to greening road. It’s extremely dangerous as you have to pull out of the junction to see round it please review again.

The hedge is still neatly cut but is still obstructing visibility down greening road as it has been left to grow very wide at the top over the years. If you look down the road when you are coming out the junction in a car there is not visibility until you pull out into the road. Does someone need to have an accident before it is cut back to allow unobstructed access from the junction ??
