Dear Sir / Madam There has been fairly major roadworks at the top end of Brick Kiln road Raunds, incorporating part of the roundabout edge. Contractors are now leaving sight yet the condition of the road is very poor, they have failed in their duty to make good post works. When will a representative from council be inspecting the work done? I have previously had a £220 tyre destroyed by an exposed drain edge...

Thank you for your enquiry. the works are being carried out by a third party developer in relation to a new development. the road surface is due to be resurfaced under a night time road closure. an inspector will visit to assess the condition of the ongoing works and, if required will liaise with the developer to make any defects safe in the interim.
