Row of four large and deep potholes in carriageway, just past Boddington Reservoir Car Park, Boddington Road.

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1681140.
Four large separate potholes sizes are 1400 x 450mm x 110mm, 1200mm x 450mm x 100mm and two more at 900mm x 400mm x 95mm. The potholes are located in the carriageway on the driving line and today I struck the largest pothole badly buckling my alloy wheel. My Volvo car does not carry a spare wheel, so my vehicle now has a problem. This road is very dangerous to motorists especially motorcycles. I now have to put in a claim to NCC for the cost of a new alloy wheel.
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

I have also had the exact same issue at this place in the road. The oncoming cars are coming at speed and impossible to swerve to avoid multiple potholes in a row, i have an Audi Q3 which has no spare tyre so ended up stranded for a full afternoon with two children in the car while sorting it out. 3 months is too long for this issue as it could easily be a fatality based on the speed of vehicles and severity of the potholes.

We had the same issue with these potholes Friday 28th June in our jaguar xf. Luckily we have a spare wheel but were on our way to the Butchers Arms for a meal and just got there in time. We are also raising a claim for a new tyre which split due to the potholes against Northants council. Hazards on whilst wheel changing with vehicles speeding towards the rear of the car.

My wife's car had to remain in lane to avoid oncoming traffic in her A180Mercedes and hit all 3/4 potholes causing damage to front offside tyre steering and other damage not yet fully assessed. What is up with Northants Road maintenance that allows severe holes in the line of driving for months which are capable of killing someone. I have consistently reported faults on this and other roads around Upper and Lower Boddington and if lucky some half hearted job is done that renders the repair useless after a few days. What will it need to do the repairs properly or even at all...………..someone's death? I have put in a FOI to see just what NCC Highways are doing. One lone compliment. The Lower Boddington to Aston le Walls road where repaired has been done to a Very High standard so well done, but is spoilt by all the ones they did not do despite closing the road.

These potholes are still there. As you can see from the photos above they meet category 1 as mentioned here (https://www3.northamptonshire.gov.uk/ councilservices/ northamptonshire-highways/ roads-and-streets/ Documents/ Categorisation%20of%20Potholes.pdf). My understanding is these need to be fixed withing 4 days. This is obviously not happened. As such I am correct in saying that you are liable for any damage to cars/bikes that hit these?
