Large tree in private household overhanging public path and prohibiting walking

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 4 minutes later. ref: 1682406.
Tree in 80 Kettering rd garden overhanging wall significantly and obstructing and impeding public footpath in Shelley street. I believe Highways act enforcement required.

Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 30 days after receipt of letter.

Why is it still impeding the pathway more than 30 days later? Please can it be sorted as I can’t use the path

The 30 days have passed on this matter and the tree remains as such. It is potentially a hazard and also a nuisance as you can’t walk upright under the tree

I keep getting random empty Alerts to my email in regards to the tree that remains impeding a footpath but no written confirmation of action to resolve matter since letter was sent. What does investigating mean please ?

It would appear that the property has recently changed hands and we are trying to obtain new details from the Land Registry.

Still can’t walk on this path buggy’s and motorbiliry scooters have to cross the road This has been going on for months will need to escalate to committee
