DP2 Footpath is overgrown/not mantained and not appropriately signed
Reported in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 12:12, Wed 10 July 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1691408.
DP2 footpath from Yew Tree Lane to Brixworth Road is very overgrown and littered. You could not walk down there with a small child due to large stinging nettles etc growing onto the path. Once reached the first style it is impossible to see where to go next on the path as it is overgrown and not clearly signed where to go next to follow the path. One of the styles can be seen but is overgrown with nettles so is impossible to go over. The last field passed through on the path is extremely overgrown and grass is up to 5ft tall.
