Please can the Council provide on update on this issue, as the the blocked drains in West St have still not been cleared and they are now need of urgent attention. Looking at the list of reported issues for Long Buckby, there are a lot of reports for blocked drains at various locations, so it would appear to be a priority and an opportune time to schedule the necessary work. I notice that for some of the other reported blocked drains in the village that work has been scheduled for November. If this is correct, please can West St be included .

There is a blocked drain opposite Parkfield Road, above 66 West Street (outside/above the 2 new white houses). It has gravel and stones blocking the whole of the drain and water is running down the hill (Mill Hill) like a river. When it freezes the road will be very dangerous to cars and pedestrians. Please can you clean the drain and probably many more as soon as possible before the snow and ice returns. Thank you

As per previous note, the blocked drains are creating a potentially very serious hazard. The drains have now been blocked for a considerable amount of time and this was bought to the Councils attention well over 6 months ago. Do we need to see an accident and someone injured before something is done about it? At the very least, please provide a timescale of when the drains will be cleared.
