Even the police did not know how to deal with it. Have no faith in them. !! Let's all pay no tax and insurance !!! And all see what happens ?

Vehicles parking in a manner to obstruct the highway or footway, or in a way that is hazardous or dangerous, falls under the jurisdiction of the local Police, while vehicles being kept on the highway while under SORN is a matter for the DVLA to handle - Northamptonshire Highways does not have any ability to act in these matters. Similarly, people performing ongoing, non-emergency works on vehicles within the public highway comes under the powers of the local district council (i.e.: Corby Borough). If people are parking so that their vehicles overhang the highway we can contact them regarding this and require that they stop, but we must see the vehicle so parked. A watch will be kept on this location for the immediate future for this matter.
State changed to: No further action
