Hedges and trees overhanging the highway in Lumber lane

With southnorthants 26 tonne refuse collection vehicles driving down lumber lane Paulerspury. The overgrown hedges are causing the mirrors on the vehicle to collapse in, restricting the view for the driver. this as become a concern over the past couple weeks due to the nature of job and safety of our staff, In this safety critical environment.   • Thank you for your enquiry. The site has been visited and an inspection has identified that the vegetation is privately owned. A letter has been sent to the owner/occupier requesting that the vegetation is cut back within 30 days. A re-visit will then be undertaken in 30 days to ensure this work has been carried out. If the owner fails to satisfactory complete this work then it will be passed to the Regulations team to start enforcement proceedings.
