A422 Farthinghoe, Vegetation Obstructing the safe passage of Pedestrians on the pavement
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:14, Thursday 18 July 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1701005.
Leaving Farthinghoe towards Brackley on the Left Side of the Road. A few yards from the school & the Pedestrian crossing traffic lights. The pavement is severely obstructed by vegetation causing danger for Pedestrians on what is already a very dangerous & busy road. Your Highway inspections seem to miss this danger every year & every year we have to report it. Can we please have rectification quickly before someone is hurt or worse? Rgds Mick Morris Chairman Farthinghoe Parish Council

We notice that work will be carried out in 4-6 weeks. This is not early enough. This constitutes a serious additional hazard on an already dangerous stretch of footpath. This problem should have been noted by your routine highway inspections & already corrected. Should any incident occur in the interim period we will refer back to this report Rgds Mick Morris Farthinghoe Parish Council
