Blocked gully flooding pavement and causing damage

This gully crosses the pavement outside 12 Market Place. Every time it rains, the water rushes across the street rather than through the gully. This then washes out the pointing and the pavement becomes loose and a trip hazard. Many of the gullies around the Market Place are in the same condition, which is why we have so many people tripping....

  • Home owner / business owner is responsible for gully, can write out requesting works to be undertaken

  • If the property owner is responsible, can you confirm that you are happy with them opening the gully that crosses a pavement?
