No Footpath available from just before bridge to right across field to opposite hedge, had to fight my way through
Reported in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 13:34, Wed 24 July 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 1 minute later. ref: 1707200.
The bridge and the path leading to it was completely overgrown. The path from the bridge should go straight across the field according to the map and WM roundels, but your map shows path going round field. Either way no obvious path could be identified. Having got across the field I struggled to find the gap in the hedge

The bridleway is almost entirely blocked by a large patch of brambles and a fallen wire fence. It is completely unsafe to try to ride across this surface.

The legal line of this Bridleway runs to the side of the section of brambles, along the field headland. As the line of the path does not pass through the bramble section, no further clearance works are required at his location.
