Bushes on the roundabout island are overhanging the carriageway and making vehicles deviate.

Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 16:23, Fri 26 July 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1709595.

Responsibility for maintenance of the island may be confused, but it is clearly the Highway Authority if the road is adopted.

  • When vehicles exit the Virgin gym on Ferris Row, approaching the roundabout they are met with vehicles facing them head on , driving on the wrong side of the road. This is because cars are legally parked outside of Guy Salmon garage so cars are forced to approach Ferris Row on their right hand side which is very dangerous. The yellow lines are placed too close to the exit so view is obscured and vehicles are forced to go round them straight into oncoming traffic. There has already been too many near misses. Please could you investigate. Many thanks, Sally Ayres 4 Barnstaple Close Northampton NN33BH
