Post hole occurring on drop down curb outside 2 Redwing Avenue

Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 10:22, Saturday 27 July 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1710107.

This pothole has been steadily growing worse and is outside my house. It is right up against amanhole cover, which means that as the tarmac erodes the lip of the manhole is revealed more and more, which has caused me and others to trip up. There are also cracks running away from the steadily growing pothole and also running away from the manhole. Plus there are loose stones and debris from this defect. It also has continuing aggravation from my husband's car which, of course, has to use the drop down curb to access our driveway. This constant aggravation will only make things worse, so something needs to be done; by no means has this caused the problem. I believe the problem is just age, wear and tear and also the sparodic lifting of the manhole cover when neighbours or whomever have had to access it for various reasons. Please address this before the lip of the manhole is even more exposed, and a child or elderly person goes flying and ends up seriously hurt. Thank you.
