Reported in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 10:20, Sunday 4 August 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 1719159.
In addition to the awful nettles and overgrown footpath, the farmer had placed a gate and knotted string at the entrance of a footbridge. Impossible to undo and very difficult to climb over - especially with the nettles. Not acceptable .
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

There has been NO maintenance on this footpath for over a year. The path is now grooved, rough, slippery, muddy and in places impossible to see where to put feet under the growth. DANGEROUS - quite impossible for a runner. The landowner seems to have no intention of responding to your request for clearance - time to twist arms? The sheep made a better job of this pathway when they got in last year.
