Overflowing drains
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 07:13, Monday 5 August 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1719885.
The drains along Tilbury Road get full and overflow within 5 minutes of rain falling. This has been an ongoing issue for many months. It is highlighted even more when we have rapid torrential rain. The consequence is that flooding occurs at the lower part of Tilbury Road, near Tilbury Rise. This flooding will lead to an accident when a car aquaplanes and collides with another car, pedestrians or property. The issue needs sorting very soon please. Thank you.

There are two drains on Tilbury Road which are full of gravel, weeds, vegetation, etc and these need to be cleaned out as soon as possible. A timeline of 26 weeks is totally unacceptable. The drains are virtually opposite each other and are the cause of the flooding that occurs further down Tilbury Road.
