Walked along the top path from St Amanda’s Close to Warkton Village last weekend and found that it was virtually impassable as it was totally overrun with nettles. We ended up walking on the edge of the field so that we could get through. I understand that the footpaths are usually cleared twice a year and wonder if this could happen soon. We run a walking group each year have a short walk in August along this footpath to Warkton and Weekley. This usually attracts some older people, so it would be much appreciated if the path could be cleared before our walk on Friday 16th August, if at all possible.
