Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1725726.

It appears that this has already been reported however last night I could not avoid the tree due to an oncoming vehicle. the tree took off my wing mirror. There were also several other wing mirrors in the ditch. This needs attending to urgently.

  • Thurs 8th Aug'19 on my way home from work approximately 1225hrs on way towards Denford I had to avoid another car coming towards Thrapston which was on my side of the road and unfortunately my passenger side mirror caught one of the branches of the fallen tree just past Nene Glen. Returned to the location of the incident to take photo of the fallen tree and noticed many other car/van mirrors also suffered same fate. Having looked thru the various reports it appears that the fallen tree was reported few days ago and yet nothing was done. Will be seeking to make a claim for repair of my car mirror therefore please advise how this can be done.
