Following another downpour on Sunday 11th August, it took no time at all for the drains to overflow once again with the water from Bettycroft Close flooding The Hollow. Luckily the sandbags I’ve placed at the front of my property prevented water cascading down the two concrete steps to our front door. The rain lasted only 15 minutes fortunately. Hopefully the blocked drains will be cleared before the next heavy rain which is scheduled for Wednesday 14th August. Thank you. John and Lesley Richardson, 2 Wigley Cottages The Hollow Ravensthorpe
