Someone came out and cleared one of the drains but debris is still left under the bridge and the other drain is completely hidden by debris. I can show you where the hidden drain is of it will help. This has been going on long enough and something needs to be done as a matter of urgency.

Drain clearing has not stopped the problem of blocked drains and flooding on Furnace Lane under railway bridge. Flooded again today 24/9/19 and needs looking at again.

Water from the railway bridge is minimal and is not the cause of the flooding under the bridge. This is caused by rainwater coming down Furnace Lane from the A509. When raining it is like a stream flowing past the cottages. The problem has been explained many times but nothing gets done and of course it is getting worse. I am quite happy to speak with someone about the problem providing they get something done. All residents are really annoyed as all that has happened so far is two notices have been put up one of which is lying on the floor so you can't see it!

The blocked drains reported by Joanne Berwick are outside Manor Park Homes and although on Furnace Lane are a completely separate incident.
