Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 10:00, Thu 15 August 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 1732889.
Outside the houses stretching from 22-28 newton road there is a strip of extremely uneven, poorly done tarmac. I live at 28 and have seen a few elderly dog walkers stumble at certain points. My son who is nearly two, who I supervise out there has tripped and fell on many occasions due to the uneven surface. He has Haemophillia Type A and recently acquired a head injury (nasty bruising) to his forehead from falling on this poor flooring. Had it have been any worse, this could have been fatal for any patient with blood clotting disorders. Will there be a next time? Probably. should it be fixed? Yes please.
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
