Encroachment onto pathway. Renders walking unsafe as have to regularly step into live carriageway and as you can imagine with 2 children and 3 dogs this is unsafe.

The path down Rookery Lane is far too narrow and uneven to make it comfortable to walk to the village.
I have children and dogs and have to drive them to the village to walk because the footpath is just not good enough to walk down. Last time I attempted this I very nearly fell into the road. I very much like the enjoyment of using the pathways around Stoke Bruerne which are one of the primary reasons for moving into the parish.
Speaking with my fellow neighbours we would really like this pathway to be improved. I will be writing to our local MP regarding this matter if it is not resolved in a timely manner.
Many thanks for your consideration.

The pedestrian pathways all around this area are in a dreadful state, full of nettles, thorns and overgrowth, not to mention rubbish and glass. Walking on this pathway is not a pleasure, but rather a case of taking your life in your hands as you try to get to your destination, negotiating the dilapidated pathways and avoiding busy traffic. What a shame that we are not able to use our roads safely on foot in an area known for its natural beauty. Due to having elderly relatives and young children, we tend to drive to a place where it is safe to walk than risk a fall all injury on the way into Stoke Bruerne. Surely this is unacceptable.
