Tarmac coming away due to heavy weeds

Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 07:28, Tuesday 20 August 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1737798.

There are two large lay-bys in Mill Road. The one next to a long line of conifers (opposite the alleyway that connects to London Road) has many weeds growing through the cracked tarmac that covers the footpath. Residents are trying to cut these back as they got to knee height and became a trip hazard. When you try and pull them away, the tarmac peels off leaving holes along this section which again is another potential hazard.

This issue has become progressively worse over the last summer.

The path would do well with a removal of the damaged footpath and relaid.

Thank you.
