Thank you for contacting Northamptonshire Highways. We were made aware of the debris 12th August 2019 and we inspected the bridges the following day. The bridges have security fencing to the north to prevent public access over the bridges, and we discovered that the fencing had been vandalised. The debris thrown off the bridges has been picked up from ground, and not fallen from the bridge structure. The security fencing is not owned or maintained by Northamptonshire Highways, however we will contact the landowner to request that fencing is repaired to prevent further unauthorised access.
