Sunken strip of tarmac causing potholes

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:55, Tuesday 20 August 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1738618.

There is a sunken strip of tarmac stretching across the lane as you are driving away from the town centre. Unable to avoid and the hole is getting deeper. This needs to be sorted before people start claiming for damages to their cars.

  • I reported this 4 months ago and was told that it was not bad enough to be classed as a problem. I either have to slow to about 10mph to cross it or drive onto the opposite side of the road. Not good enough from the council!!!
