Damage to the bollard base (pic 1) while the posts on the neighbouring chevron sign are rusted through (pics 2&3)
Reported in the Safety Bollard - Damaged/Missing category anonymously at 17:10, Tue 27 August 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 1 minute later. ref: 1746222.
This bollard and sign are on the verge outside our house which is directly opposite the pub (the Fox and Hounds) in Lower Harlestone. We are just concerned that they may not survive much longer and as well as it's being a 'tricky bend' (we recently had the police called out to an accident where the driver missed the bend and ploughed into a neighbour's wall!), the A428 is a busy road - with traffic often ignoring the 30mph speed sign, thereby coming down the hill (from Northampton) at rather higher speeds!
