Trees overhanging on public footpath from rear garden of 94 Broadlands Desborough NN14
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 08:40, Fri 30 August 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1749428.
Good Morning We would like to report trees overhanging on the public footpath to the front of our property at 17 Pine Close, Desborough, NN14 2UQ. The trees are in the rear garden of 94 Broadlands, Desborough, NN14. We put a note through the door of the homeowner 2 years ago to ask if he would mind cutting them back a bit (I still have the copy letter) He knocked our door and explained he had a back problem but would sort out getting them trimmed. We have since spoken to him twice more face to face, and still no action has been taken. I am only 5ft tall and can barely walk under them and we also park a van outside the front of our property, and the door catches on these overgrown trees. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
