Overhanging vegetation on the footpath, pedestrians have to duck to get past

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1749433.
The vegetation is coming over from No 1 Hayes Road. It is hanging over the footpath and you have to duck to avoid the vegetation. This is not acceptable for our blind or partially sighted residents.

Thank you for your enquiry. The site has been visited and an inspection has identified that the vegetation is privately owned. A letter has been sent to the owner/occupier requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next 30 days. A re-visit will then be undertaken in 30 days to ensure this has been carried out. If the owner fails to complete this work then it will be passed to the Regulations team to start enforcement proceedings.

2nd letter sent to homeowner 13.2.20Thank you for your enquiry. The site has been visited and an inspection has identified that the vegetation is privately owned.
