Multiple Roads need tarmacking

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 08:55, Monday 2 September 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1752364.

Why have Upper George Street, and half of George Street and half of Newman Street, not been completely tarmacked when Simpson Avenue, Lancaster Street and Grove Street have been done twice within 3 years. When they were doing the said roads, I asked why the area in Upper George Street hasn’t been repaired. I was told that these were not on the repairs list. There are yellow circles around a lot of pot holes. These will come back, the road needs re-tarmacking. Also the pavements and the kerbs are full of brambles and weeds.

  • Apologies for the delay in response. Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately I cannot comment on why the roads mentioned haven’t been completed. However, the yellow circles indicate there are repairs to be done. I will pass your concerns onto the relevant team and bring it to their attention.
