Multiple pot holes and uneven road surface

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Phillip Ward at 12:34, Monday 2 September 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1752596.

The Radstone Road either side of the Poppyfields roundabout is an a very poor condition. This has been going on for years. The recent road closures did not deal with this problem only the surface of the roundabout. I was told before that the developers are responsible for making good the the road condition. But NCC is the Highway Authority and should be making them fulfil their responsibilities. When will something be done?

  • This is adopted highway, with defects reported for years. Irrespective of developer discussions, it is the councils responsibility to keep it safe. Current operations are illegal.
